Music Walkabout: a journey in musical appreciation

This is an interactive workbook and you will need a notebook.

Listen to the audio tracks online.
Use a notebook for some answers and pictures.

In Music Walkabout, you may listen to the mood created in selected
advertisement jingles, sound tracks for a cartoon and a theme for a movie
character.
Using a variety of sound sources from the Internet, you may choose two
arrangements of music to convey two different moods.

Music covered includes: pitch (melody and harmony), duration (rhythm, time and metre), dynamics and volume, tempo, tone colour, texture, instrumentation and articulation.

Most of the sounds will open in MP3 or 4 and Windows Media Player.

There is a Kindle version (but without the word searches):

This workbook is copyrighted 2012 and 2018
Senior primary students found the concepts a trifle difficult so it is being marketed to the original years 7-8.
